Detailed Warranty Policy
TERMS OF WARRANTY
- WHAT IS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
1.1. Teachmint (“Teachmint/Company”) warrants the Interactive Intelligent Panels and OPS contained in the original packaging (“Product”) against any defect in materials, workmanship, factory installed firmware that arises when used normally in accordance with Teachmint's Terms of use of Product (which include but are not limited to information contained in technical specifications, user manuals, installation guidelines and service communications) and results in the Product failing to perform in accordance with the manufacturer’s published specifications ( “Manufacturing Defect”) for a period of THREE (3) YEARS from the date of invoice issued to the end user ("Warranty Period"). For the purposes of this Warranty Policy, the end-user shall be defined as the (“Customer”). The warranty period for all accessories supplied with the Teachmint Product, including but not limited to the Remote, Touch Pen, 3M Power Cord, 3M USB A-B cable, 3M HDMI cable, any additional power cable(if any), and any other accessories provided shall be three (3) months from the date of the invoice issued to the end user.
1.2. This Warranty is valid only if the Product is installed, operated, and used strictly in accordance with Teachmint’s applicable Terms of Use, available at: https://cart.teachmint.com/pages/terms-of-use (as amended from time to time), along with the applicable user manuals, installation guidelines, service communications and technical specifications. Any use of the Product that is inconsistent with the Terms of Use shall render this Warranty void.
1.3. This Warranty is valid and enforceable only within the territory of India. Any claims arising outside the designated territory shall not be covered under this Warranty, unless expressly agreed to in writing by Teachmint. Teachmint reserves the right to reject any claim made for Product purchased, delivered, or used outside the specified territory.
1.4. Please note: All warranty-related claims made under the Teachmint Three-Year Warranty will be governed by the terms set out in this warranty document and terms of Transit Damage Protection (TDP). The original invoice issued to the end-customer shall serve as the proof of purchase for all warranty related-claims. The delivery challan shall serve as the official proof of purchase for all future warranty claims of replaced devices. Customers are requested to retain the original invoice to ensure claiming of Teachmint Warranty. In the event of transfer of ownership of the Product, the Warranty Period shall continue for the remaining duration, subject to uninstallation, re-installation, or relocation of the Product performed solely by a Teachmint-authorized service person. Failure to comply with this requirement shall render the warranty void.
For the purposes of this General Terms of Warranty Teachmint-authorized service person would mean service technicians or engineers who are either employed by Teachmint or appointed, trained, and authorized by Teachmint in writing to perform installation, uninstallation, reinstallation, relocation, maintenance, or repair services for the Product.
2. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS-WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY?
2.1. This Warranty does not apply to any non-Teachmint branded hardware products or any third- party software, even if such products or software are packaged or sold together with Teachmint hardware. The manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers of such non-Teachmint-branded hardware or software may provide their own warranties, and customers are advised to contact such third parties directly for further information. Software distributed by Teachmint whether bearing Teachmint brand or not (including, without limitation system software) is not covered by this Warranty. Please refer to the applicable Terms of Service or terms of use for details of rights with respect to its use. Teachmint does not warrant that the operation of the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. Teachmint is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow the instructions, guidelines, or conditions set out in the applicable Terms of Use of Teachmint’s Product (s).
This Warranty does not apply:
(a)when the Product is not purchased from Teachmint or Teachmint Authorized Partner; (b) when Product has been used without proper earthing in the electrical power supply of the end-user premises (Teachmint recommends getting earthing done by a qualified electrician, if not already done, before installation of the Product(s)); (c) when Product has been damaged due to extremely high or low electricity voltages or frequent shutdowns as a result of power-cuts or direct switch off from the power socket (Teachmint recommends using a suitable UPS to overcome these issues); (d) to damage caused by use a third party component or Product (including third party software); (e) to damage caused (including cosmetic damage) by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, liquid contact, earthquake or other external cause; (f) to damage caused by operating the Product; (g) to damage caused by service (including upgrades, repairs and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a Teachmint Authorized Service Person; (h) to a Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability; (i) Damage or Failure caused by unauthorized modification or alteration or if it is used for other than the intended purpose; (j) if the Product has been subjected to wear and tear, neglect, negligence, accident, improper storage, improper handling, or use contrary to any instructions issued by Teachmint to the end-user purchaser; (k) in the absence of a valid invoice/delivery challan; (l) Consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss to property or life arising directly or indirectly out of any defect in the Product. The company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair of defective parts only under the warranty period; (m) Damage or loss to program, data from removable storage media; (n) The Customer gets the Product repaired from unauthorized Technician/ Service Provider; (o) In case the serial number is deleted, defected or altered; (p) In case the proof of purchase doesn’t bear the corresponding model and/or the serial number of the unit; (q) Warranty doesn’t cover any compatibility and connectivity issue; (r) to damage caused by use a third party component or product (including third party software).
13 .IMPORTANT RESTRICTIONS
Teachmint may restrict its warranty service for its Product to the country or region where Teachmint or its Authorized Partners originally sold the device. Teachmint may restrict warranty service for its Product in the following manner:
3.1. If the end user fails to make payment or clear the invoices issued by Teachmint within the stipulated time mentioned in the respective invoice, Teachmint may invalidate the warranty for the concerned Product.
3.2. The end-user must safely keep the original packaging material of the Product(s) for the Warranty Period for transporting the Product(s) in case it needs to be dispatched for repair or replacement. In case the packaging material is missing or unfit for use, the end-user will have to bear the charges for packaging of the Product(s) in such scenarios.
For the purpose of this Warranty policy, the Authorized Partner/(s) would refer to any third-party entity or individual that has been formally appointed and authorized by Teachmint, under a valid written agreement, to sell, distribute, install, or service Teachmint Products within a specified territory.
4. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CUSTOMER
4.1. IF THE PRODUCT IS CAPABLE OF STORING SOFTWARE PROGRAMS, DATA AND OTHER INFORMATION, THE CUSTOMER SHOULD MAKE PERIODIC BACKUP COPIES OF THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE STORAGE MEDIA TO PROTECT THE CONTENTS AND AS A PRECAUTION AGAINST POSSIBLE OPERATIONAL FAILURES.
4.2. Before receiving warranty service, Teachmint or its “Authorized Service Provider/(s)” may require that furnish proof of purchase details, respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues and follow Teachmint's procedures for obtaining warranty service. For the purposes of this clause, “Authorized Service Provider” shall mean any service provider engaged by or connected with the Company via its official support helpline. Before submitting the Product for warranty service, maintain a separate backup copy of the contents of its storage media, remove all personal information required to be protected and disable all security passwords.
4.3. DURING WARRANTY SERVICE IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE CONTENTS OF THE PRODUCT’S STORAGE MEDIA WILL BE LOST, REPLACED OR REFORMATTED. IN SUCH AN EVENT TEACHMINT AND ITS AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, AUTHORIZED SERVICE PROVIDERS, ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF SOFTWARE PROGRAMS, DATA OR OTHER INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE STORAGE MEDIA OR ANY OTHER PART OF THE PRODUCT SERVICED.
4.4.For repaired and replaced Product, the warranty period will continue for the remaining duration of the original Warranty Period.
5. HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE?
5.1. All warranty claims shall be raised by the end-user purchaser to Teachmint’s support team at: support@teachmint.com | 080-35073710. The SLAs for technical support for Products shall be as per Clause 6.
a. Initiating a Claim: All warranty claims, including DOA (Dead On Approval)/in-transit damage, should be raised by the end-user purchaser to Teachmint’s support team via email or phone:

b. Documents and information required to initiate a valid Claim:
● Tax invoice
● Serial number of device
● Description of the claim/issue
5.2.For all warranty claims, we would require the Customer’s support for the initial remote troubleshooting process to support our team.
6. WHAT STEPS WILL TEACHMINT TAKE UPON RECEIVING A VALID WARRANTY CLAIM
6.1.Technical Support & Service Level Agreement (SLA): Upon receiving the claim, Teachmint’s support team will provide technical assistance. The estimated resolution timelines for first response and first onsite visit are as follows:

*Note on Resolutions that Teachmint may, at its discretion, implement based on the requirement :
● Remote Resolution includes diagnosis, troubleshooting, firmware updates with the support of the Customer.
● Onsite resolution includes diagnosis, troubleshooting, firmware updates, and minor corrective actions including hardware repairs or part replacements.
● These timelines are for initial onsite visits. Replacement of parts would be purely at the discretion of Teachmint alone. In case the replacement of the entire unit is being made, (subject to the sole discretion of Teachmint), the same model shall be replaced and in the event such model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the equivalent as deemed by Teachmint. Teachmint reserves the right to retain any parts/components replaced at its discretion, in the event of a defect being noticed in the equipment during Warranty Period. Where a warranty is provided the Product or part replaced becomes the property of Teachmint. If any part replacement or entire Product replacement is required as per diagnosis of Teachmint, then additional time for dispatch and delivery of the replacement part/device will be added to the resolution TAT.
● The above SLAs are on best effort basis and are not subject to unforeseen delays, force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest), or impacts from natural disasters or other unavoidable circumstances that may affect service delivery in certain areas. Teachmint should keep the Customer informed of any such delays.
● Customers are required to ensure safe and clear access to the Product(s) for Teachmint’s/ Authorized Service Partner/(s)’ Authorized Technician, Authorized Service Provider’s service personnel during onsite visits.
● Location Classification: The classification of cities and locations is based on Teachmint's internal service area definitions and may be updated periodically.
6.2. Escalations: If the issue is not resolved to satisfaction within the stated SLA, the Customer may escalate the concern to the below email ID with the Proof of Purchase Details

6.3. Before initiating Warranty service, Teachmint. Authorized Partner, Authorized Service Providers or its Authorized Service Person may require proof of purchase details, response to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues, and follow Teachmint’s procedures for obtaining Warranty service.
7. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS SUBJECT TO CONSUMER LAW
TEACHMINT DISCLAIMS ALL STATUTORY AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND WARRANTIES AGAINST HIDDEN OR LATENT DEFECTS, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. IN SO FAR AS SUCH WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED, TEACHMINT LIMITS THE DURATION AND REMEDIES OF SUCH WARRANTIES TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY AND, AT TEACHMINT’S OPTION, THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SERVICES DESCRIBED BELOW.
8. TEACHMINT’S DEAD ON ARRIVAL POLICY
8.1. What Qualifies as Dead on Arrival (“DOA”)
The Product is considered as DOA if the following circumstances are observed by the Company;-
a. if it is found to be non-functional or has a Manufacturing Defect upon initial setup or delivery.
b. the end-user has reported the defect within three (3) business days; i. For the end-user purchasing installation as a service from Teachmint or its authorized dealers, it shall be three (3) business days from the date of the unboxing. ii. For the end-user not purchasing the installation as a service from Teachmint but from Authorised Partners, it shall be three (3) business days from the date of the delivery.
8.2. How to Submit a DoA Claim
a. Please check the Product for any damage when receiving it from the delivery partner. Note any damages on the delivery receipt before signing as proof that the product was delivered in a damaged condition.
b. Unboxing Video: A complete, unedited video recording of the Product(s) unboxing process, clearly showing the condition of the packaging and the Product as it is removed. This is crucial for verifying the claim.
c. Pictures and/ or videos showcasing the defect/ damage in the Product.
d. Product details (e.g., serial number etc).
e. Order details (e.g., Tax Invoice/delivery challan in case of replaced device. Bill to Ship To address, tracking details).
8.3. Resolution for DoA Claims
Upon verification and confirmation of a valid DOA Claim, Teachmint shall provide a replacement of the affected Product(s). Teachmint will cover all shipping costs associated with returning the defective/damaged unit and dispatching the replacement unit. Our aim is to minimize downtime and ensure receipt of a fully functional Product as quickly as possible.
8.4. Exclusions
The DoA policy does not cover:
a. Products that are found to be physically damaged. Please refer to Teachmint X- Transit Damage Protection (TDP) Policy under clause 9 to check eligibility for claiming a replacement under the TDP Policy.
9. TEACHMINT X - TRANSIT DAMAGE PROTECTION (TDP) POLICY
9.1. What Qualifies as Transit Damage?
The Teachmint Product is covered under TDP if the following circumstances are observed by the Company-
a. The Product is found to be physically damaged at the time of arrival/initial unboxing or setup.
b. The issue is reported to Teachmint within three (3) business days of the unboxing or delivery date.
- For Customers who have purchased installation as a service from Teachmint, the three-business-day period begins on the date of unboxing.
- For Customers who have not purchased installation from Teachmint but from the Authorized Partner, the three-business-day period begins on the date of Product delivery.
9.2. How to Submit the TDP Claim
To ensure the claim is processed efficiently, please follow these steps:
a. Note Damage on Delivery: If the Product packaging appears damaged upon arrival, please make a clear note of this on the delivery receipt before signing.
b. Create an Unboxing Video: A complete, unedited video recording of the unboxing process is required. The video must clearly show the condition of the packaging and the Product as it is being removed. This video is essential for verifying the claim.
c. Contact Teachmint Support: Immediately contact our Support Team at support@teachmint.com or at Phone: 080-35073710 to report the issue. The following information shall be required:
- Product Details: The serial number of the affected Product.
- Order Details: A copy of the tax invoice/delivery challan in case of replaced device (mandatory). Purchase Order number, Package number, purchase order copy and payment proof might be required in specific cases.
9.3.Resolution for TDP Claims
Upon verification and confirmation of a valid Claim, Teachmint will provide a replacement for the affected Product.Teachmint will cover all shipping costs for returning the defective or damaged unit and for dispatching the new replacement unit. Our goal is to minimize downtime and ensure receipt of a fully functional Product within a reasonable timeline.
9.4. Exclusions
The TDP policy does not cover:
a. Product that are found to be damaged due to misuse, unauthorized repairs, or improper handling after a successful initial unboxing and setup.
b. Unboxing (unedited) video is missing for physical damage cases.
c. Incomplete or missing remarks on the delivery receipt for box damage cases.
d. Product/(s) that are delivered to the Customer by a reseller and not directly by Teachmint, and are found to be damaged after delivery to the Customer. Please contact the seller to check eligibility.
e. Missing accessories, cables or components unless specifically reported within the applicable reporting timeline.

10. OUT OF WARRANTY
10.1. Product is considered out of warranty in these circumstances -
a. Warranty Period of the Product has lapsed
b. Upon examination by Teachmint, it is determined that the reported issue falls within the definition of “What is not covered”
10.2.The after sale services for out of warranty Product shall be subjected to Teachmint’s sole discretion to offer repair and support services. The availability of such services is subject to the nature of the issue, the availability of necessary parts, and technician resources.
10.3. If a repair is approved and undertaken, all other services provided for Out of Warranty Product will be chargeable. This includes, but is not limited to: Charges for diagnostics, Cost of replacement parts, Labour charges for repair, Onsite visit charges (including travel and accommodation if applicable), Shipping and handling costs for transporting the Product to and from a service center etc.
10.4. If under Teachmint’s discretion repair has been completed as per clause 10.2 and 10.3, the Warranty Period on the repaired parts shall be for a duration of three months of workmanship warranty from the date of the final repair on the parts, if such parts are Teachmint’s hardware.
11. EXTENDED WARRANTY POLICY
Teachmint offers the option to extend the warranty coverage for your Product(s) beyond the standard Warranty Period pursuant to terms and conditions stated below.
11.1. Extended Warranty Eligibility : Customers may purchase an extended warranty only from Teachmint at the time of purchase of the Product. Teachmint may, at its sole discretion, allow the purchase of an extended warranty after the Product has been purchased. Such approval will be determined individually and is not guaranteed, the estimates of the extended warranty shall be shared upon request by contacting the Support Team @ support@teachmint.com.
11.2. What is covered by Extended Warranty: Extended Warranty plans provide the same coverage as the standard warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use. All terms and conditions of the standard warranty, including "What is Not Covered" (Section 2) and "Data Backup" (Section 4.3), also apply to extended warranty coverage.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEACHMINT SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION, OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF USE; LOSS OF REVENUE; LOSS OF ACTUAL OR ANTICIPATED PROFITS (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS ON CONTRACTS); LOSS OF THE USE OF MONEY; LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS; LOSS OF BUSINESS; LOSS OF OPPORTUNITY; LOSS OF GOODWILL; LOSS OF REPUTATION; LOSS OF, DAMAGE TO, COMPROMISE OR CORRUPTION OF DATA; OR ANY INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED INCLUDING THE REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA STORED IN OR USED WITH THE PRODUCT OR ANY FAILURE TO MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION STORED IN THE PRODUCT.
TEACHMINT DISCLAIMS ANY REPRESENTATION THAT IT WILL BE ABLE TO REPAIR ANY PRODUCT UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR REPLACE THE PRODUCT WITHOUT RISK TO OR LOSS OF INFORMATION STORED ON THE PRODUCT.
13. GENERAL
Except Teachmint, no reseller, dealer, partner, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Warranty. If any term is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired. This Warranty is governed by and construed under the laws of the Republic of India. Teachmint or its successor in title is the warrantor under this Warranty. This Warranty Policy applies exclusively to the Product and shall supersede and replace any prior or contemporaneous statements, representations, or communications made by Teachmint regarding warranty terms or procedures. All Warranty Claims shall be governed solely by the terms set forth in this online Warranty Policy, and no other offline or online documentation, communication, or representation shall alter or expand the scope of warranty coverage provided herein, except as specifically provided by Teachmint under Clause 11 of this Warranty Policy. Only the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction to settle any claims or disputes arising out of the warranty.
