Warranty Policy
TERMS OF STANDARD WARRANTY
1. Date of Commencement: Warranty Period for the Classroom Device(s) contained in the original packaging ("Teachmint Product(s)") shall commence from the date of invoice for the Teachmint Product issued to the end-user purchaser (“Invoice Date”).
2. Warranty Period: Teachmint Technologies Private Limited (“Teachmint”) warrants the Teachmint Product(s) against defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper use for a period of three (3) years and 15 days from the Invoice Date ("Warranty Period"). If you have purchased extended warranty, the warranty period for your Teachmint Product(s) shall be as specified in your invoice. In the event of a conflict between the warranty period in the Warranty Policy and your invoice, the warranty period in the invoice will prevail.
3. What is covered: Subject to Clause 4 below, the warranty shall cover all costs incurred towards correcting/rectifying/repairing any defects under normal and proper use of the Teachmint Product(s) within India (“Warranty”). In the event of any defect in materials and workmanship, you will be able to direct your Warranty claims to Teachmint even in situations where you purchased the Teachmint Product(s) from an authorised dealer/distributor of Teachmint. Teachmint reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to determine the validity of any Warranty claim. Teachmint’s decision shall be final.
4. What is not covered: Warranty shall not apply if the Teachmint Product(s) or any component thereof : (i) has been used without proper earthing in the electrical power supply of the end-user purchaser building (Teachmint recommends getting earthing done by a qualified electrician, if not already done, before installation of the Teachmint Product(s)); (ii) has been damaged or rendered defective due to normal wear and tear such as reduced brightness over time; (iii) has been damaged due to extremely high or low electricity voltages or frequent shutdowns as a result of power-cuts or direct switch off from the power socket (Teachmint recommends using a suitable UPS to overcome these issues); (iv) has been subjected to neglect, negligence, accident, improper storage, improper handling, or use contrary to any instructions issued by Teachmint to the end-user purchaser; (v) has been repaired, altered, disassembled or reassembled, or removed by persons not expressly authorized by Teachmint for this purpose; (vi) has not been operated, repaired and maintained in accordance with the procedures followed by Teachmint ; or (vii) has failed due to an act of God, including but not limited to fire, flood, tornado, earthquake, hurricane, lightning, threat of or actual acts of terrorism or war.
5.Accessories: Included accessories (Wall Mount Kit, Stylus, Power Cable, Touch Cable, HDMI Cable, Remote & Antennas) are covered under a replacement warranty of 90 days from the Invoice Date subject to Clause 4 of the terms of the Warranty. Additional optional accessories like UPS, OPS, Trolley etc. shall have separate warranty terms and warranty period as applicable.
6. Process of availing: All warranty claims shall be raised by the end-user purchaser to Teachmint’s support team [support@teachmint.com | 080-35073710].

7. Proof of purchase details: Before receiving Warranty service, Teachmint or its agents would require that you furnish proof of purchase details, respond to questions designed to assist with diagnosing potential issues and follow Teachmint’s procedures for obtaining Warranty service.
8. Packaging Material: The end-user purchaser must safely keep the original packaging material of the Teachmint Product(s) for safely transporting the Teachmint Product(s) in case it needs to be dispatched for repair or replacement. In case the packaging material is missing or unfit for use, the end user will have to bear the charges for packaging of the Teachmint Product(s) in such scenarios. End-user purchasers are also advised by Teachmint to retain the packaging material for safe storage, transportation and easy resale of the Teachmint Product(s), whenever a need arises.
9. Data: Before receiving Warranty service, it is your responsibility to remove any removable storage media and back up any data, software, or other materials you may have stored or preserved on your Teachmint Product(s). It is possible that such storage media, data, software or other materials will be destroyed, lost or reformatted during the warranty service, and we will not be responsible for any such damage or loss.
10. Other Limitations: EXCEPT FOR THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN, TEACHMINT DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT MAY BE IMPOSED BY APPLICABLE LAW ARE LIMITED TO THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
SHIPPING DAMAGES
1.In the event of any damage to Teachmint Product(s) discovered upon delivery, the end-user purchaser shall report the same to Teachmint within 24 hours upon receipt of the Teachmint Product(s), with supporting material. Teachmint is not responsible for the shipping damages reported after such period. We recommend videographing unboxing of the Teachmint Product(s) for any claims of shipping damages.
