TEACHMINT’S DEAD ON ARRIVAL POLICY
1.1. What Qualifies as Dead on Arrival (“DOA”)
The Product is considered as DOA if the following circumstances are observed by the Company;-
a. if it is found to be non-functional or has a Manufacturing Defect upon initial setup or delivery.
b. the end-user has reported the defect within three (3) business days; i. For the end-user purchasing installation as a service from Teachmint or its authorized dealers, it shall be three (3) business days from the date of the unboxing. ii. For the end-user not purchasing the installation as a service from Teachmint but from Authorised Partners, it shall be three (3) business days from the date of the delivery
1.2. How to Submit a DoA Claim
a. Please check the Product for any damage when receiving it from the delivery partner. Note any damages on the delivery receipt before signing as proof that the product was delivered in a damaged condition.
b. Unboxing Video: A complete, unedited video recording of the Product(s) unboxing process, clearly showing the condition of the packaging and the Product as it is removed. This is crucial for verifying the claim.
c. Pictures and/ or videos showcasing the defect/ damage in the Product.
d. Product details (e.g., serial number etc).
e. Order details (e.g., Tax Invoice, Bill to Ship To address, tracking details).
1.3. Resolution for DoA Claims
Upon verification and confirmation of a valid DOA Claim, Teachmint shall provide a replacement of the affected Product(s). Teachmint will cover all shipping costs associated with returning the defective/damaged unit and dispatching the replacement unit. Our aim is to minimize downtime and ensure receipt of a fully functional Product as quickly as possible.
1.4. Exclusions
The DoA policy does not cover:
a. Products that are found to be physically damaged. Please refer to Teachmint X- Transit Damage Protection (TDP) Policy under clause 9 to check eligibility for claiming a replacement under the TDP Policy.
