Warranty Scope and Period
Teachmint (“Company/Teachmint”) warrants the clicker and the base station (“Click X”) against material defects and workmanship( collectively, a “Manufacturing Defect”). The warranty for the primary Click X device is valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of the original invoice issued to the purchasing institution/ school ( “End-Customer/ “Customer”) or in the absence of an invoice on the delivery date to the End-Customer, whichever is earlier (“Click X Warranty Period”). All accessories included in the original packaging, such as the batteries, USB cable, screwdriver shall not be covered under this Click X Warranty Policy. Teachmint warrants that this Warranty Policy covers the compatibility of the Click X device to only the Teachmint’s Interactive Intelligent Panels (“Teachmint Product”) when used with the base station. If the Click X fails to integrate or function with a Teachmint Product due to a verified defect, it will be eligible for replacement under these Warranty terms. This warranty is valid and enforceable exclusively within the territory of India, and the original tax invoice serves as the mandatory proof of purchase for all claims.
2. Click X Replacement Policy
To ensure an uncompromising standard of service and the continued operational excellence of your hardware, Teachmint maintains a definitive replacement policy for your Click X device. Under the terms of this warranty, Teachmint does not offer repair services or component-level fixes. Instead, the Company’s commitment to quality is fulfilled exclusively through the provision of a new replacement device for any Click X device eligible for replacement as outlined under Clause 3.
3. Conditions for Replacement
A Click X device is eligible for replacement under Clause 2 only if it is found to have a confirmed manufacturing defect that prevents the device from performing its primary functions as per the manufacturer's specifications. “Manufacturing Defect" is strictly and exclusively defined by, and the Click X Warranty Policy is strictly limited to, one of the following conditions: (a) hardware failure that occurs during normal use; (b) failure to communicate with the Teachmint Product’s connected base station despite following correct pairing procedures followed we per the guidelines on this page, under How to connect your Click X device to Teachmint X? ; and (c) non-functional physical buttons or response sensors. It is explicitly clarified that if any reported issue requires a firmware updation or software re-installation on the Click X, the base station, or the connected Teachmint Product, such issues must be resolved exclusively through the firmware updation process, a replacement will not be provided under such scenarios. Eligibility for replacement will be determined solely by Teachmint's technical support team based on the mandatory video evidence provided by the customer.
4 .Exclusions and Limitations
This warranty is void in instances of physical damage (such as cracks or structural breaks), liquid damage, or misuse outside the device’s intended purpose. Coverage does not apply to the natural depletion of battery capacity over time, damage due to leakage of batteries or leaving the device in an active state for extended periods. Furthermore, any attempt to modify, open, or repair the Click X, or evidence of tampering and exposure to environmental extremes, will immediately render the warranty null and void. Compatibility issues arising from third-party hardware, unauthorized software modifications, or failures to follow recommended installation and pairing guidelines are also excluded and shall be classified as (“Out of Warranty”) for the purposes of this policy.
5.Dead on Arrival (DOA) and Transit Damage
A Click X device is classified as Dead on Arrival (DOA) or as having Transit Damage if it is found to be non-functional or physically compromised upon its initial unboxing Such instances must be reported to support@teachmint.com within three (3) business days of delivery. To verify a DOA or transit damage claim, the customer must provide a complete and unedited unboxing video clearly showing the condition of the packaging and the device as it was removed. DOA and Transit Damage can be claimed only if the Click X device is purchased and shipped directly from Teachmint. Valid DOA claims will result in an immediate replacement, with Teachmint covering the associated shipping costs for the return and fulfillment.
6.Out-of-Warranty Replacements
In cases where the Click X Warranty Period has expired or the defect is classified as Out-of-Warranty under clause 3 of this policy due to physical, liquid, or damage, Teachmint may offer a replacement device at a designated fee. For these instances, a new Click X device will be dispatched only upon receipt of full payment from the customer. Customers are not required to return the original defective device for Out-of-Warranty replacements. Teachmint maintains sole discretion over the availability of such services based on stock and technical feasibility.
7.Warranty Claim and Verification Process
To initiate a warranty claim, the customer must contact the Teachmint support team at support@teachmint.com. Every claim must be accompanied by the product serial number, a copy of the tax invoice, and a clear video demonstrating the reported defect for technical validation. Once the support team provides authorization, the customer is required to ship the defective device to the Teachmint’s address detailed below*. After dispatch, the customer must share the Air Waybill (“AWB”) number and a copy of the courier invoice with the support team. Once the defective device is received at the Teachmint’s below mentioned address and the claim is verified, Teachmint will dispatch the replacement device and reimburse the customer’s shipping costs**. The End- Customer bears the risk of loss or damage for the device until it is physically received and signed for by an authorized Teachmint representative.
8. Pairing the Click X device to your user profile
- Log in to your student profile on your Teachmint application.
- From the sidebar menu, select ClickX.
- Tap on the “Link your Click X” button.
- Scan the QR code located on the back of the ClickX device using the scanner shown on the mobile screen. Alternatively, you can choose the option to enter the device details manually.
- Once the ClickX device serial number is captured, click on the "Link Click X" button, and the device will be successfully linked to the student profile.
9.General Legal Provisions
Except as expressly provided in this policy and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Teachmint disclaims all other warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. No reseller, agent, or employee is authorized to modify or extend the terms of this warranty. Teachmint shall not be liable for any direct, special, or consequential damages resulting from a breach of warranty. This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising hereunder.

**subject to a maximum cap of Rs. 200 per shipment, to facilitate the refund, the customer is required to provide bank account verification, such as a cancelled cheque or a valid UPI ID. Reimbursements will be processed within 15 business days following the successful receipt and inspection of the defective material.
